When people think of jazz in Oklahoma, they always mention one name: Lee Rucker. Lee is a world class trumpet player, musician, educator, and mentor. He has been one of the main catalysts for a flourishing jazz community in OKC, and was a co-founder of the great UCO Jazz Lab. He'll make his debut at McKinney's "Round Midnight Sunday Concert Series", sharing the feature spot with his student Mo Pend Luo. Luo originally hails from Guiyang, China, and moved to America to study jazz at the Universty of Central Oklahoma. He's a powerful young force in jazz, already with a unique voice in bebop. You do NOT want to miss this special show, paying tribute to the great Cole Porter!
