Perth, we’re back!After the huge success of our first-ever event in WA, we’re getting ready to host our second year of A Night in the Doghouse.
We’re locked in for May 9th and we’re taking over the Main Cell Block of Fremantle Prison… again! We can’t wait to bring the magic of this event to life.
Having successfully raised over $350k for the Black Dog Institute across all Australia-wide events, A Night in The Doghouse is setting its sights even higher in 2026. Perth alone is aiming to raise $50k to support the incredible work of the Black Dog Institute.

The purpose of A Night in The Doghouse is two-fold: to spark meaningful conversations about mental health among individuals and to raise vital funds for Black Dog Institute's groundbreaking mental health research and treatment—all while enjoying an unforgettable night out!

Attending A Night in the Doghouse is far better than the usual "sleeping on the couch" scenario.
Event Details:
- MOUTH WATERING food and a 4.5-HOUR DRINKS PACKAGE including, beer, wine, bubbles, spirits, a special cocktail just for the night and non-alcoholic options (we do highly encourage responsible drinking).
- A night packed with electrifying entertainment, including DJs and live music.
- Held at the iconic Fremantle Prison, a historic landmark in the heart of Fremantle
- Exciting raffle prizes, auction items and sponsors to be announced soon!
- Black tie dress code to make it a night to remember. Gentlemen, dust off your best tuxedo or suit and tie. Ladies, dress to turn some heads.
