A New Map of Human Experience: A Lecture by Jeff Lieberman

We rely on maps to navigate the complexities of our world in a simplified form. The 'Mediocre Map' is an attempt to do the same for the dimensions of human experience. The map will never be the territory, but an understanding of such a complex topic can act as a practical tool for deepening our exploration and understanding of ourselves.
The Mediocre Map attempts to connect all dimensions of human experience, from simple sensations to complex metacognitive processes. This map acts as a bridge, linking everyday experiences with psychological healing, the scientific foundations of spiritual evolution, and the principles of physics. Its goal is to transform our understanding of ourselves and the universe we inhabit, providing a unified platform for detailed and subtle discourse about the human experience.
Join us as we explore this 'Mediocre Map’ (tongue-in-cheek, as it is in continual evolution), and discover how this tool can illuminate our lives and enrich our theories about consciousness.
Jeff Lieberman has spent the last 15 years training in meditation, personal development, and group dynamics for well being, co-founding Sleepawake Camp, a summer program for young adults to learn about the necessary aspects to thrive as an adult in this world. Previously, he received four degrees at MIT (Physics, Math, Mech E and Robotics), hosted “Time Warp” on the Discovery Channel about the wonders of science, and made large-scale art for 15 years.
