A Musical Performance with treya lam
Join us for a special performance of storytelling and song from their multidisciplinary offering "otherland" - Including themes of protest, treya lam, a composer, interdisciplinary performing and recording artist whose intersecting identities ignites their work, culminating in liberation-oriented songwriting that “perfectly captures the mixture of love, loss and hope” (Smithsonian Magazine).
they are currently recording their sophomore album “otherland: a sonic altar” which features Allison Russell, have been a OneBeat Fellow and Joe’s Pub Working Group resident. lam has shared stages with Ani DiFranco, Valerie June, has headlined at Lincoln Center and MASS MoCA.
