A Musical Journey Through Eastern Cultures with Raindrop Ensemble

Join us for a unique and enriching experience as the Raindrop Ensemble presents an interactive showcase of traditional and spiritual music from across Eastern cultures—including Greece, Macedonia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, and India. This event invites the community to explore the rich musical traditions of these regions through live performances, cultural storytelling, and instrument demonstrations.

We’ll introduce instruments such as the oud and bağlama, explain the cultural roots and meanings behind the pieces we perform, and encourage audience interaction through Q&A and open conversation. Light snacks and refreshments will be served as we gather in a welcoming environment that promotes dialogue, discovery, and connection.

Whether you’re new to Eastern music or already a fan, this is an opportunity to engage with diverse traditions, meet musicians from various backgrounds, and reflect on the universal power of music to transcend boundaries and build community.
