The City of Dublin is excited to invite you to “A More Walkable Dublin,” a special presentation by Jeff Speck, urban planner and author of Walkable City, the best-selling urban planning book written this century.
This event will be hosted at the Wendy's Innovation Center on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The talk is free and open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. You do not need to bring a ticket for entry.
Internationally recognized for his expertise in designing walkable, vibrant places and co-founder of Speck Dempsey, an urban planning firm, Jeff Speck will present core principles of pedestrian-oriented design and discuss their relevance to Dublin’s unique context. This event is held in conjunction with the Bridge Street Corridor Visioning Study.
“A More Walkable Dublin” represents an important moment for the City as it embraces innovative ideas to improve quality of life, promote sustainability and foster community engagement.
