During this 60-minute, Yoga Nidra Experience, Courtney Bishop will guide you through each stage of this deep, sensory rest and recovery practice. Drift through intention setting, breathwork, a body scan, and more as you relax alongside the earthy and ambient soundscapes. Connect with your eternal light within to facilitate calmness and clarity. After the Yoga Nidra Experience, we'll gently shift into an evening of mixing and mingling with our community. Light snacks, photo opps, and celebration are in order as we honor One Year in our space! Why Yoga nidra? This powerful, non-movement practice induces a deep state of relaxation that allows access to the subconscious mind, enabling individuals to process emotions, release tension, and potentially reprogram negative thought patterns while remaining consciously aware, essentially achieving a profound level of rest while still mentally present; this is achieved by deliberately guiding the mind through various body sensations and imagery, effectively calming the nervous system and promoting a sense of peace and well-being to see clearly.
