About the Book: Worth Seeing pushes readers to see other's worth through a different lens, God's lens. With stories and practical tips from three decades of ministry, Amy challenges perceptions and increases compassion for youth who are often pushed to the margins of society. She encourages readers to tap into their arsenal of compassion, empathy, and understanding—not just for the unseen—but for everyone they encounter, including themselves.
About the Author: Amy L. Williams has been involved in youth ministry for nearly three decades, ministering to teens involved in gangs, youth on probation/parole and those lost in the criminal justice system. As a certified Gang Intervention Specialist, Amy lives and works in the Latino gang neighborhood in Chicago's Humboldt Park community where she is a "Hope Dealer to the dope dealer," doing street outreach and walking life with young people on her block.
