About this Event
This event is meant for anyone with a basic understanding of mindfulness meditation interested in sitting with and processing their grief with a compassionate group.
Together, we will explore our unique experiences of grief(of all kinds) through mindful discussions and meditation practice.
This is a full day online retreat and attendees are encouraged to disconnect from social media and other outside distractions for the purpose of full immersion and connection. Silence is also recommended outside of designated discussion times.
There will be breaks built in, including an extended lunch break with time for self-practice.
Note: Anyone feeling drawn to explore grief in a trauma-informed retreat space is welcome to join. However, as this retreat is not led by a mental health professional, it’s important to consider individual psychological readiness for this experience. If intense or destabilizing emotions are currently present, it may not be the best setting for safe engagement with reflective practices. Consulting with a mental health professional can help assess readiness if there is uncertainty. Participation is encouraged when the timing feels right.
