The German composer Felix Mendelssohn fell in love with Shakespeare at a young age — even studying English to read the Bard’s works in their original language. Mendelssohn wrote effervescent incidental music for the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” including the famous Overture and the “Wedding March.”
