About this Event
Shakespeare in the park — but not as you know it! Four Forty Theatre bring their outrageously funny take on A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Coronation Park for a magical summer evening.
Four actors. Every role. Quick-fire character changes, playful invention, and a sparkle of silliness that transforms Shakespeare’s most enchanting comedy into a joyful, chaotic, laugh-out-loud night of theatre.
Fairies, lovers and a troupe of hilariously hapless actors tumble through an enchanted wood in a production that brims with warmth, laughter and unexpected surprises.
Whether you’re a Shakespeare lover or brand new to his plays, this is Shakespeare at its most accessible and fun — perfect for the whole family.
Described as “the most playfully ambitious theatre troupe going,” Four Forty prove that you don’t need a high-value production to deliver high-quality entertainment.
Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and let the midsummer magic carry you away.
