Join us, as our panelists discuss the history of The UMC’s Response to the HIV/AIDS Crisis. As we reflect on how the United Methodist Church has engaged with HIV/AIDS patients since 1981, we will learn about the relationship between various organizations in the denomination. At this critical moment in the denomination’s history, this will give United Methodists’ insights into how we have followed our call toward “the transformation of the world.”
Hosted by The Body of Christ Has AIDS co-directors Margaret Irwin & Stephen Hale, panelists will share their insights from various parts of The United Methodist Church. Margaret & Stephen will also share about The Body of Christ Has AIDS, a documentary in production which features numerous stories from The United Methodist Church.
