You decide to fulfill your childhood dream of cycling around the world. On May 3rd, there will be a special showing of “A Life in Tandem” at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes. This is a documentary about Luke, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. It’s an extraordinary story of perseverance and true grit to fulfill Luke’s dream. Dave Wellborn who was lucky enough to see this film in Lancaster, has worked to bring this film to Delaware. Dave is also a cancer survivor, and started a nonprofit in 2024 to raise funds for cancer research. The first two years, the Keystone State Ride (KSR) has raised over $80k for cancer research. The theater has been extremely helpful and generous in getting this movie into the US. Dave said “I’m so excited that my friends will be able to see this movie. It’s such a great story”. Tickets are $20 at the door. All ticket sales benefit the Keystone State Ride.
