I fell in love with Lee's music when his prior band, The Loudermilks, opened for David Childers at Pittsburgh Winery. The Loudermilks vinyl has been in my "currently playing" bin for years. I am very excited to share Lee's solo project with all the Friends of Jupiter.
With roots steeped in the tradition of storytellers like John Prine and Townes Van Zandt, Edwards crafts songs that are both spare and richly evocative. His latest work, Interpreting Heart Sounds Vol. I (Feb 2025), showcases Edwards' evolution as an artist who has lived a life both on and off the road.In a career spanning three decades, his music has been featured in The New York Times, Wide Open Country, Mojo Magazine, Uncut Magazine, and The Charlotte Observer and albums reviewed in No Depression, Americana Highways and Saving Country Music.
As always, 100% of your contributions go to the performers and the sound tech. But please bring extra $$ for tips and merch. We support live music and the people who make it, and encourage you to also.
