5-day camp
Jump back in time and discover artists and artistic techniques from the past! In this camp we’ll create pieces that reflect on different eras and artistic movements throughout history. We’ll learn some fun history facts and get our hands dirty making lots of clay projects!
In this camp students will learn all basic handbuilding techniques they need to create their ceramic projects. They will also get to use underglazes to paint their pieces in the style of the masters or choose a glaze color for their finished pieces. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 4-6 weeks after camp ends.
What’s included:
- 5 three-hour instructional sessions
- All the clay and materials needed to complete class projects
- A daily snack
Notes on behavior: For children needing extra assistance due to behavioral issues or other concerns, one adult may accompany them to camp. However, please note that the accompanying adult cannot create their own pieces in the camp. Additionally, if a child experiences behavior difficulties during camp and it becomes clear they need one-on-one attention, we may require an adult's attendance for extra support.
Students under the age of 8 will not be permitted to take this class. Ages will be confirmed on the first date of class and any students outside of the class age range will not be able to proceed with class. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling options will be provided.
