A Lark at the State Park (All Ages) - Friday, May 15 (11 am) Celebrate birds at Higgens Point! Meet up with the Coeur d’Alene Public Library and the Idaho State Parks Department for an outdoor program that’s all about our region’s feathered friends. Your love for birds will take flight with our silly stories, fascinating facts, bird ballads, and avian activities. Kids of all ages will even receive a beautiful book about birds, plus a warbler whistle so the fun can continue at home! Participants should allow time to hike an easy third-of-a-mile (paved) trail from the Higgens Point parking lot (at the end of E. Coeur d’Alene Lake Dr) up to the picnic shelter where the event will take place.
