Join Grants Pass as one of ten cities nationwide to join Opal Lee, “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” on a 2.5-mile walk. This walk symbolizes the 2.5 years it took for the last enslaved people in Texas to learn of their freedom.

This community event is open to all ages. Bring your chairs, gather with friends and neighbors, and celebrate freedom, culture, and community with us. Everyone is welcome!
