This immersive, sensory experience blends yoga, herbs & spoken affirmations to bring nervous system regulation & a feeling of total well-being.
Spending 10 minutes on each of the 7 main chakras (energy portals in the body), we explore an asana (yoga pose), a herb and an affirmation to lavish love and care on ourselves. You'll leave totally rejuvenated and with a little goody bag of herbs and intructions on how to replicate your class at home.

The yoga is led by Natalie Blakeman of @Love&LightYoga (https://www.lovelightyoga.co.uk/my-roots) and the herbs by Charlotte Webb of Homestead Herbal, both experienced in their fields, with all of the relevant qualifications & insurances to ensure your safety & wellbeing. Charlotte is trauma-informed and neurodiverse positive (Charlotte is ND herself).
We have lovingly designed this class to match each chakra to a yoga asana and an affirmation, combined with a sip of herbal tea, tincture, syrup or a herbal roll-on oil, to envelop you in a sensory experience whilst also learning something new & promoting self-worth, self-trust and self-love.
This class has been created from a deep desire to embody the teachings and wisdom of herbs into our body, and to integrate learning as a whole-body experience.

This class is suitable for folks who:
- Are brand new to herbs, brand new to yoga
- Are experienced with herbs, experienced with yoga
- Are looking to develop take-away nervous system regulation tools - we are passionate about making this something you can slot into your everyday life.
- Are teens or adults - if under 16, will need to be accompanied by a parent.
- Want to build trust in our body's own innate knowledge of what it knows, needs & wants via herb tasting.

WHAT TO BRING:
- A yoga mat and blanket, plus any usual yoga props you normally use e.g. blocks, strap.
- Wear comfy clothes with layer options for warm up/cool down
- Bring a water to stay hydrated!
- You may want to bring a journal or note book and pen, but don't worry if not - we won't be doing any 'book learning' and there will be a hand out to take away and replicate the class.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- This event will take place at CHEDDLETON COMMUNITY CENTRE, HOLLOW LANE, CHEDDLETON, STAFFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND. It is not at the Homestead Herbal shop nor at Natalie's usual teaching halls.
- Fully accessible building on the ground floor with ramps, large free carpark directly outside.
- Accessible toilets
- Large hall room with 22 people (including staff) - plenty of space for a full yoga practice with personal space.
- Trauma-informed - no hands on adjustment without your express permission. No photographs.
- No unstructured socialising time - no standing around chatting feeling awkward.
- Bring any accommodations you need - your whole unmasked self is warmly welcome here.
- 1 Angel Ticket available per event for those who financially wouldn't otherwise be able to attend - simply send a message to me here on facebook or through www.homestead-herbal.org toenquire. One individual can apply for one Angel Ticket to any HH event per calendar year (Jan-Dec) to encourage fairness. No-one at the class will be able to tell who paid in full and who had an Angel Ticket.
