Bringing the next level of music talent to Pier Master's House with this exclusive jazz trio of award winners and prestigious jazz musicians.
This event will be held upstairs at Pier Master's House - please note, this space has no disabled access due to the historic nature of the building.
Londoner Nigel Price is a highly skilled guitarist as well as an accomplished composer whose swinging bebop approach combined with flawless control is a delight to hear. He has played on more than 50 albums, spent ten years with acid jazz outfit the Filthy Six, was a member of James Taylor’s jazz/funk band for 3 years and has played at Ronnie Scott’s over 600 times. As leader, he has recorded 9 albums, including six with his own Organ Trio. A multi award winner - he has picked up a Parliamentary Jazz Award (Best Jazz Ensemble, 2010), a nomination for a British Jazz Award (Best Guitarist, 2014) and a British Jazz Award (Best Guitarist, 2016) along the way. Nigel will be joined by local Jazz Guitarist Neil Burns, one of the few jazz musicians in the area to gain national prestige.
