Award-winning filmmaker and activist Jon Cruz unveils "A House Full of Love" a compelling stage play revealing the untold stories of immigrant families in America. This stage play reading will be in collaboration with Hole In The Wall Theater Company in New Britain, CT.
A House Full of Love is an intimate stage drama about a Cuban immigrant family bound by grief, resilience and unbreakable love. After Elena’s death, Miguel and his mother Sophia struggle to rebuild their lives in a country that questions their identity and belonging. As they mourn their memories become both comfort and pain and moving forward feels like a constant battle. Yet within their home love endures. Through heartbreak and quiet strength, the play tells a powerful story of a family fighting not just to survive but to be seen, heard and to hope for a better future.
