-INTRO-This is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and gently reset.
This workshop offers a soft landing for anyone feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or on the edge of burnout. We begin with a welcoming space where you can arrive exactly as you are, followed by a short introduction to set the tone and intentions for our time together. You’ll gain a clear understanding of what to expect, so you can feel safe, supported, and at ease.
Together, we’ll explore the nature of stress, both acute and chronic, and how it affects your nervous system. You’ll learn the difference between “fight or flight” and “rest and digest,” and how burnout develops over time. With this awareness, we’ll introduce simple, effective ways to support recovery through regulation and gentle presence.
-CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP-
The workshop includes a calming movement practice to release tension from common stress areas like the neck, shoulders, and spine, combined with somatic exercises that help cultivate a sense of safety in the body. We’ll also explore the physiology of breath; how it works and how it directly influences your nervous system.
Through guided breathing practices, including diaphragmatic breathing and lengthening the exhale, you’ll experience practical tools to down-regulate stress and restore balance. We’ll close with additional techniques you can integrate into daily life, followed by space for questions and reflection.
-FOR WHOM IS THIS WORKSHOP-
This workshop is for anyone who feels overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves.
It’s especially supportive for those experiencing early signs of burnout, chronic stress, or emotional fatigue, whether from work, caregiving, or simply the pace of daily life. If you often feel “on edge,” struggle to relax, have low energy, or find it hard to switch off, this space is for you.
It’s also well-suited for people who are curious about the nervous system, stress regulation, and gentle, body-based approaches to recovery. No prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or somatic practices is needed; everything is accessible, slow, and guided.
Whether you’re in the middle of burnout or simply want to prevent it, this workshop offers practical tools and a supportive environment to help you reconnect, restore, and rebalance.

-ABOUT THE TEACHER-
Sofia is a Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga teacher and a Yoga Therapist in training. Her journey into yoga began during a demanding corporate career, where the pressure led to a feeling of being unable to breathe freely. As she gradually reconnected with her breath and inner world, a deep fascination with the philosophy of yoga emerged—one that continues to grow.
As a lifelong student, Sofia’s intention in her teaching is to guide students out of the busy mind and back into a deeper connection with themselves. She believes that yoga is about cultivating inner strength and stability. In her classes, she integrates breathwork with asana, along with elements of yoga philosophy and meditation. And, as a lover of poetry, she occasionally weaves in a short poem to gently close the practice.
