A flowery afternoon: Talk and Floral Demo with Shane Connolly MBE

Join us for a relaxed afternoon at St. Machar's Cathedral on August 8, 2026 at 2:30 PM (BST) with Shane Connolly MBE. Known as the King's florist Shane has created displays for many royal occasions and holds a royal warrant with HM The King and HM The Queen. He will share his passion and skills for sustainable floristry in a fun talk and floral demonstration. Whether you love flowers or just want to enjoy some creative vibes, don’t miss out on this unique chance to see top quality floral artistry up close!

This is part of the Cathedral's second Sustainable Flower Festival. Tickets are available on eventbrite for £15 plus £1.96 eventbrite fees and also in the Cathedral Shop for £15. Shop takes cash or card.

If you feel inspired to try floral arranging or develop your skills come to our Season-led flower workshop on Friday 7th August at 7pm. There you will create a wonderful arrangement to take home.
