About this Event
Participants will engage in hands-on activities to transform discarded materials into captivating art pieces. The project invites participants to consider what makes an object desirable: the material, the story behind it, or the craftsmanship that transforms it into something unique.
By guiding attendees through the process of repurposing waste into new textures and designs, Jill & Gill demonstrate how the act of making can shift perceptions. The hands-on experience reinforces that desire can be cultivated through understanding, creativity, and sustainable innovation.
Each participant will leave with a beautiful collection of handmade pieces of paper finished with a hand-pulled screenprinted illustration designed by Jill & Gill. The outcome is not just a visually appealing piece of art but one that carries ethical significance, making it all the more desired.
