Only one person per family is allowed to register; unless they are twins. Do not register if you have visited Oxford University with us before. We are organising another trip to Cambridge University in July 2026. You can join us then. We want to give opportunities to other families too.
The day trip to Oxford University is organised by Youth Aspire Connect (YAC). YAC is an award winning youth led Organisation in Hull and East Yorkshire that is committed to inspiring, empowering, and mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their full potential (Charity Reg no:1199354).
This exciting trip to one of the most prestigious universities in the world is part of our strategy to inspire young people to think Bigger, be Better, and achieve More especially for those who believe Oxford University is not for them. Our young people should see Oxford University as a place where they can belong and thrive too.
This trip is for young people aged 11 -17 years (You will be 11years and above by March 2026)
This is a full-day trip from 6:30am to 7:00 pm. We have an effective and robust safeguarding policy & procedures in place and Public Liability Insurance (till January 2027). All the young people embarking on the trip will be accompanied by adults. These adults work in the educational or health sector with an up to date DBS check certificate. We are using a registered and highly reputable coach company.
The visit will cover:
• Welcome Talk by the Oxford University staff
• Academic skill taster session with Oxford University staff
• Q & A session with current Oxford University students
• Tour of the Colleges, Library, and University departments.
• How to gain admission to Oxford University
• Application process & what documents are needed
• Lunch & networking and many others.
The trip will cost only £22.50 per child including lunch with staff at the University of Oxford. The organisation (Youth Aspire Connect) will offset the balance. However, additional charge of £2.15 may apply at checkout for Eventbrite processing fee.
