About this Event
Join photographer, grower and Mediterranean cook Emel for an intimate day of fermentation, cultivation and creative food photography in her garden.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn to:
- Make fermented foods including kimchi, kombucha and sauerkraut
- Bake artisan sourdough bread from scratch
- Master greenhouse growing techniques to keep your hands busy and cultivate fresh produce for your kitchen
- Capture stunning food photography – whether you shoot with a professional camera or your phone, you'll discover lighting techniques, styling secrets and composition tips as Emel demonstrates her approach to creating beautiful food imagery.
The day concludes with a communal lunch in the heart of the garden beside the greenhouse. Savour a healthy, seasonal spread featuring homemade sauerkraut, red lentil köfte wrapped in crisp lettuce, kombucha and wine—a celebration of the skills you've learnt throughout the day.
All equipment, ingredients, jars, props and lighting will be provided; just bring yourself and an appetite to learn.
This workshop is fully plant-based.
