Come join us at the Apex Museum for an engaging and thought-provoking event with Yusef Crowder. North Carolina native Yusef Crowder, recounts his story of racism and rhythm. This interview-based film was inspired by Amick's time studying at UNC-Greensboro. Under the tutelage of Dr. Watson Jennison, he learned about African-American History and Robert F. Williams. Continuing to research and study the civil rights leader from Monroe, NC, eventually led Amick to Yusef Crowder.
