About this Event
We're delighted to welcome Sir Anthony Seldon back to Brighton Girls to talk about his recent book 'The Path of Light: Walking to Auschwitz'.
This is a powerful and personal piece of writing, in which Sir Anthony retraces a 1,300km route across Europe to Auschwitz, uncovering the stories of individuals who chose courage and moral clarity in the darkest of times.
Written between 2023 and 2025, the book reflects on what those lives can teach us about responsibility and peace today.
Described as “a formidable achievement” and “profound and compelling” this promises to be a thoughtful conversation.
Sir Anthony Seldon is former Vice-Chancellor, University of Buckingham, former Master of Wellington College, former Head Master of Brighton College, author, political commentator & contemporary historian. He has recently taken on the role of Head Master at Epsom College.
Doors open at 6.00pm and the bar will be open for wine, beer and soft drinks. The talk will start at 7.00pm.
This event has kindly been sponsored by Brighton Girls so all money raised will go to Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals.
