Bringing Our Communities to Life: The Power of Beautification – District 7
Overview

A well-maintained neighborhood is more than just a beautiful place to live—it fosters pride, safety, and a stronger sense of community. Bringing Our Communities to Life: The Power of Beautification is an opportunity for neighbors to come together and address key issues such as potholes, trash collection, and infrastructure maintenance. This conversation will focus on how local government manages these services and how residents can advocate for improvements to create cleaner, safer, and more vibrant communities.

Why This Matters

In a recent survey, 75.41% of District 7 residents expressed concerns about potholes, trash buildup, and the overall maintenance of public spaces. These issues impact the daily lives of residents, affecting mobility, safety, and community well-being. This conversation will explore the responsibilities of local government, the processes for addressing infrastructure challenges, and ways residents can take action to enhance their neighborhoods.

What to Expect
  • Expert Insights – Learn from local officials and infrastructure experts about city services, maintenance plans, and improvement efforts.
  • Community Conversations – Participate in small group discussions to share concerns, identify challenges, and brainstorm ideas for beautification and maintenance.
  • Resource Fair – Connect with government agencies and organizations that provide tools for reporting issues, organizing community clean-ups, and advocating for change.
  • Action Planning – Work together to develop strategies for holding officials accountable, securing resources, and fostering long-term community improvement.

Who Should Attend?

This event is for residents, business owners, neighborhood associations, faith leaders, and anyone committed to improving the infrastructure and cleanliness of District 7. Whether you are concerned about potholes, waste management, overgrown lots, or other maintenance issues, this is your chance to be part of the solution.

Be part of the conversation and help create real change.
