The community is invited to join us in honoring Norman E. Johns, the Orchestra’s former Assistant Principal Cellist and longest-serving African American musician. This celebration of life will bring together family, friends, colleagues and the broader community to reflect on his remarkable legacy, share stories, and celebrate the impact he made through his music and his life.The celebration is free and open to the public.
