A safe space for writers of all levels. A suggested sliding donation of 5-10 but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Every other Sunday
Hi team! Join us every other Sunday for an afternoon of writing, breathing exercises, and tea. All experience levels are welcome. The club begins with each member sharing how they feel in one word. We then go through breathing exercises and writing prompts led by Chok Palmo. At the end of each exercise, members are invited to share their work and receive feedback. The goal of the club is to create a space where each person feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed enough to find their inner writer. I started writing poetry midway through college, hosted and attended workshops and worked with women in Pr*son to help them make their own poetry books. My co-host Samra and I met in a writing class and this was her idea! This Sunday will be a songwriting workshop cohosted by Roylt, a producer/singer-songwriter.
