Join Parsons Elab and IEI for a climate week fireside chat with former Elab fellow Daniel Cervenka (Media Studies ’18), in conversation with his colleagues Elise Orlowski and Ilja Panić discussing their journey through projects in the Galapagos, Tech startups, work with U.N Oceans, and more.
Daniel Cervenka (Media Studies ’18) is a producer, artist, and consultant who focuses on social impact, sustainability and climate action. His clients include the United Nations, NGOs, and Fortune 500 companies. His work with the United Nations inspired him to explore further ways of creating communication bridges between policymakers and the public through video and other creative mediums.
Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, he spent ten years living in the United States and operates remotely on projects worldwide. Daniel is the founder of The Convergence, an organization uniting experts, leaders, and creatives from across the globe to amplify a positive impact on the future of our planet through collaboration, multi-disciplinary projects, and philanthropic initiatives. His latest project is resolve.global, an AI-enabled knowledge base to find resources and tools to move your climate projects forward.
He was previously the founder and CEO of Setle, an online platform that facilitates equitable payment solutions for independent contractors by providing transparency and security during remote collaboration and project delivery.

Elise Orlowski is an award-winning filmmaker who pursues all things film in the Boston and New York area. After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, she has traveled the world working on commercials, documentaries, and short films.
Ilja Panić is a design and technologist who crafts bespoke software and product experiences while working at the intersection of people, technology, and living systems.
