About this Event
Join us for a special abridged performed reading of the classic festive ghost story A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, presented by Mr. Paul Nolan.
This performance pays tribute to Dickens’ own historic reading at the Corn Exchange on Hertford Street, Coventry, for the benefit of the Coventry Institute on 15 December 1857, when he appeared for one evening only at the invitation of his friend Sir Joseph Paxton, M.P.
A Victorian Welcome
Guests will be greeted by a choir singing traditional Victorian carols upon arrival. Joining in is warmly encouraged, though not compulsory.
