Get into the Christmas Spirit this December with Christmas readings at Dalnavert! This year two(!) very accomplished gentlemen will join us as hosts. Ron Robinson, a longtime friend of Dalnavert and a beloved radio host, has generously been sharing his stylings of the classic Dickens tale with our guests every holiday season for over a decade. Winnipeg musician James Hickerson will accompany Ron on guitar for these readings.
Returning to Christmas at Dalnavert is actor Richard Hurst, a mainstay in Winnipeg’s theatre scene. Richard performed incredible Christmas Carol readings at Dalnavert throughout the 1990s and 2000s. We are very grateful that he will return for this holiday season.
Evening readings will take place in the Visitors' Centre from December 18th through the 21st. And join Ron Robinson for an intimate parlour matinee performance on December 21st.
Doors open 30 minutes before the event. Come early to see the historic house and enjoy a holiday drink at the bar!
