It’s 1942, and the World is at war. Young men have joined up in their thousands. Ladies and girls have turned their hands to assisting all manner of wartime activities. But the show must go on! St Petersburg Little Theatre Radio Players, sponsored by the Florida Power Corporation, are gathering at radio station WSUN’s studios to present a live recording of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol.
Based on a real broadcast, the play explores the reality behind keeping the Little Theatre going in wartime - whilst moving into new premises, raising money and losing their young actors to the forces, and the characters involved.
