About this Event
The Freedom from Torture North London Supporters Group is delighted to invite you to a fundraising ceilidh with The Muckers, a Hackney-based ceilidh band that has delighted audiences for over 30 years.
A ceilidh means you can expect a relaxed, informal evening of dancing to a live band playing mostly Gaelic music, with a caller who explains all the dances to you, and guides you through the dancing. No experience is necessary. Everyone can take part, including children (who will also need a ticket), providing they can follow instructions and are willing to give it a go.
This event is meant to be a fundraiser, but these are difficult times. We are asking people to pay £5, £10, or £15 each, whichever amount they feel they can reasonably afford.
