Infinite soundThe A Cappella Spectacular returns to the Festival of Voices concert program in 2026, celebrating the human voice through an exciting showcase of exceptional vocal ensembles. Spanning a wide range of styles, from barbershop and traditional folk songs through to modern contemporary a cappella, this concert highlights the versatility, energy, and emotional power of unaccompanied singing. With no instruments and no limits, the program promises something for every listener. The ever-charismatic Dr Trevor Jones will be the MC for the night, leading audiences through a dynamic and entertaining program.
The concert will feature the performance outcome of the 2026 A Cappella Workshop, led by acclaimed conductor Melissa Kenny, highlighting the collaborative work and creativity developed during the workshop. Rounding out the program are performances by outstanding guest ensembles including the Auckland Youth Choir (NZ), Harambee A Cappella (VIC), The Honeybees (NSW), Soul Food A Cappella (NSW), Hobart Harmony (TAS), Vocalis (TAS), Adelaide Vocal Union (SA) and Deep South Chorus (TAS), delivering a diverse and inspiring night of world-class vocal music.
