About this Event

Hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the voice of organised civil society in Europe, the conference will feature civil and religious leaders from the Horn of Africa who will present research and policy advice produced by the Salama Hub, a policy and advocacy program for peace in the Horn of Africa created by AFSC and the All African Conference of Churches.

Rather than relying on outside perspectives, the Salama Hub empowers African researchers to produce evidence-based research that is rooted in local communities. in particular, we will discuss the situation of the ongoing conflict in Sudan, as well as Peace and Security in the horn of Africa, including the structure and role of stakeholder such as women, youth, churches, and civil society.
