ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE EAST: ‘A Bomber’s Moon’ Walking Tour A Bomber’s Moon by Sam Robinson and Trevor Gill is set wholly within the rows of terraced streets of Ballymacarrett (East Belfast), the Belfast Ropeworks, Harland & Wolff shipyard and other well-known locations in the district during the Belfast Blitz of April and May 1941.
In advance of opening night, we are offering twenty people the opportunity to join Sam and Trevor as they lead a Belfast Blitz themed walking tour of East Belfast on Sunday 29th March 2026. The cast and crew of the show will join us. The event begins at 12.45 pm sharp at the Sanctuary Theatre and lasts until approximately 3pm.
The walk covers a distance of around a mile and three quarters. You will visit the streets where the characters lived, the locations where they worked and socialise and experience the tangible effects the Belfast Blitz has had on Ballymacarrett to this day. You will also be able to chat about the show to the cast (Glenn McGivern, Andrew Porter, John Travers and Leah Williamson) along the way.
Tickets priced £12.00 for ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE EAST – THE BOMBER’S MOON STREET TOUR are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/brightumbrella. You are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes.
