Pistol Pete Wearn is a singer-songwriter and solo acoustic blues artist who performs raucous and upbeat material accompanied by fingerpicked guitar and a stomping foot. His music has been played on BBC Radio 2, described as “as true as it gets” by Blues Blast magazine & twice-awarded ‘Solo Blues Artist of The Year’ by Moonshine Magazine.Since its release in May 2023 his latest album Blues, Ballads & Barnstormers has received airplay on BBC Radio 2, reached the top 40 of the IBBA Album chart and the RMR Contemporary Blues chart and been described in one review as “an album to listen to in the evening by the campfire, with your head in the stars and a drink in your hand...”.
He can also be heard providing the sound of fictional zombie country singer, Colt Swanson, in the hit videogame Dead Island 2.
