We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced.
I posted a couple months ago about my dad…
For 35+ years, my dad worked as a mechanic at the same garage— Trygar’s Auto Center and Kwik Lube straight out of highschool. He showed up every single day, worked hard, and provided for his family without hesitation. After suffering two strokes, he has been unable to return to work and has been focusing on recovery.
While my Dad was and is still healing, his wife Kathy had to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery. What we thought would be a routine procedure turned into far worse devastating news…
Further testing revealed she has stage 4 liver cancer. After weeks of waiting after the diagnosis and more tests, we were told she has only months to live.
As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming for some time now since my dad’s strokes & him not working, but even more so now. Medical bills are piling up, everyday expenses-with my Dad and Kathy unable to work, we want to do everything we can to ease their burden and allow them to focus on spending precious time together.
