About this Event
Bruno Feldeisen is a Chef & cookbook author and is currently a judge on The Great Canadian Baking Show being aired on Netflix & CBC.
Chef Bruno will be teaching you how to cook the following recipes and we will serve the food as he shows you how everything is prepared. Soft drinks are included, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Bavarian Menu:
Kartoffelpuffer - Potato Pancake with Mustard Beer Sauce
Classic Sauerbraten - Beef braised until tender in a delicious sweet and sour gravy
Apfelkuchen - Warm German Apple Cake with Vanilla Sauce
While working as an apprentice for a renowned chocolate shop, Feldeisen fell in love with the lively, intense, and family-like environment and trained under the leadership of Michelin Star Chef Alain Ducasse. After moving to the U.S., Feldeisen worked at Los Angeles famed Patina Restaurant, the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, which garnered a three-star rating from the New York Times. He has owned a French American restaurant in San Francisco that earned two-and-a-half-stars, taught at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver, BC and was Executive Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons Vancouver and recently Executive Chef at Semiahmoo Resort in Northern Chef Bruno has appeared on popular Food Network shows such as Chopped Canada, Donut Showdown, Sweet Genius and Beat Bobby Flay. Chef Bruno was nominated twice for The James Beard Award.
