The Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia is a not-for-profit community organisation that strives for the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is one large family).
The primary objective of the Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia is to promote the values of unity in diversity, social cohesion, multiculturalism, harmony, inclusiveness, and pluralism across Australia. In partnership with the Australian Federal and State Governments, as well as local councils, it works to foster peace, progress, and shared prosperity within the community.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia has active branches in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia, each addressing the unique needs and priorities of its respective state.

The registration fee includes morning tea, vegetarian lunch and afternoon tea.
Please note that the seats are limited and the participation in the conference is by advance registration. Unfortunately, no walk-ins are allowed for this conference.
Purpose of the Conference
The purpose of the conference, themed “Building Communities, Powering Australia”, is to bring together members of the Hindu Dharmic (faith) community, including youth and women, as well as representatives from academia, media, politics, public administration, the judiciary, science and technology. The conference will also include leaders and representatives of various Hindu associations and temples from across Australia.
The objective is to deliberate on the ways in which Hindus can continue to contribute meaningfully to the Australian economy, science and technology, healthcare, public administration, and politics, while effectively serving Australian society at large. Interaction with government agencies will further deepen this understanding and strengthen collaboration.
The conference will host interstate participants, along with delegates from both the Federal and State Governments.
Who Can Attend
Those who are committed to working for Hindu community
Those having a goodwill / appreciation towards Hindu faith
A leader or representative of a Hindu organisation, association or institution; and
Members of the academia, business leaders, elected representatives, legislators and media
Note the participation is limited to individuals who are 15 years of age or older.

The conference agenda will include discussion under the following six key areas:
Working with Government Agencies
Hindu Youth - Future Leadership and Shouldering Responsibility of Hindu Society
Bringing the Hindu diaspora together
Positioning Hindus in Politics, Administration, Judiciary and Police
Positioning Hindus in Academia and Media
Hindu Temples, Language Organisations, Cultural Organisations and Denomination Organisations serving Hindu Society
