Juneteenth is the Celebration of the rich heritage of former slaves being informed of their emancipation from oppression. They were informed June 19, 1865 of this freedom in Texas, 2 years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation announcing all slaves to be free. Juneteenth became a Federal Holiday June 17, 2021. We Celebrate this rich history which cannot be erased and must be recognized in all the great achievements and inventions we acknowledge today.Come and Celebrate with Us Our history, Your History, American History. The Event will host a keynote address, musical entertainment, resources, merchandising, free food and lots of fun. Please remember to bring lawn chairs.
