On Saturday, August 15, 2026, Project New Hope will be hosting their ninth annual “Birdies for Vets” golf tournament in honor of our local veterans. The event will be held at Heritage Country Club located at 85 Sampson Road, Charlton, MA 01507.
The tournament will be played as a 4-man scramble.
Registration starts at 12pm with a shotgun start at 1pm.
The entry fee is $150.00, which includes a round of golf, cart, steak dinner, and prizes. Additionally, Chick-Fil-A lunch box will be generously provided by Chick-Fil-A of Worcester at time of registration.
Project New Hope Inc. (PNH) located at 70 James Street, Suite 155, Worcester, MA was founded in 2010 and established in January 2011 by a disabled Air Force Veteran, William H. (Bill) Moore.
PNH is a New England-based, military-affiliated, resource hub that finds and delivers the wellness resources needed by Veterans, Service Members, their families, and units currently deployed together.
PNH takes a comprehensive approach to wellness by providing many opportunities for Veterans to socialize with each other through meaningful events such as coffee socials, health and nutrition programs, food pantries, and retreats.
PNH’s food and pantries provide basic needs and nutrition to many military families. The social events and outreach activities provide connection and peer support.
The retreats provide hands on healing opportunities for Service Members, Veterans, and families who have experienced the invisible wounds of war.
PNH also has a case manager to assist Veterans and Service Members with their individual needs. PNH is where Veterans and their families can rebuild their life with honor.
In addition to the money received from those who play in the event we are reaching out to offer you the opportunity to support Veterans in your community by being a sponsor for our Birdies for Vets golf tournament. You can support this event and PNH in the following ways:
1. Hole Sponsorships – “Platinum Sponsor” of $1500.00: A sign with your name and/or business will be placed at the hole, social media coverage, donation flyer and a foursome.
2. Gold Sponsor” of $500.00: A sign with your name and/or business will be placed at the hole, social media, donation flyer, and four tickets for dinner.
3. Silver Sponsor” of $250.00: A sign with your name and/or business will be placed at the hole and on the donation flyer.
4. $100.00 Donor – your name or business information will be posted on the donation flyer and social media.
5. Donate a Gift Card or item for the Raffle.
6. Sponsor the golfer’s gift.
7. Sponsor a Veteran to play ~ $150.00 per player.
8. Donate a monetary gift in the amount you can afford. With the help of individuals coming together our goal is to raise over $25,000.00 for PNH and aid in fulfilling their vision to foster the most successful well-adjusted generation of Veterans in our nation’s history.
