Tickets for the 99th Annual Mountain Dance and Folk Festival, taking place July 30, July 31, and August 1, 2026, are available through the Folk Heritage Committee website and the following QR Code. As the nation's longest-running folk festival, this event features traditional Appalachian music, dance, and storytelling. The event is held at Asheville High School, located at 419 McDowell St, Asheville, NC 28803. Performances run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening. Adult tickets are $20 each evening and a three-day package is available. Children ages 6 - 12 years of age tickets are $5.
