✨ Artist Bio Passion, performance, and mentorship resonate through every note Marcya Daneille sings and every lesson she teaches. A dedicated jazz vocalist and vocal coach, Marcya brings her mastery of vocal technique and deep love of performance to audiences of all kinds—entertaining, enlightening, and inspiring along the way. Marcya’s performance career spans festivals, educational institutions, intimate jazz clubs, and theater stages. After time abroad in Italy and England, she settled in New York where she recorded her debut CD Keeping It Simple, executive produced by jazz luminary Wycliffe Gordon. After returning to the Midwest and settling in Wisconsin, Marcya became a familiar voice on the regional jazz scene, performing at celebrated venues and major festivals including Summerfest and the Fresh Coast Jazz Festival. She was also featured on the PBS Wisconsin educational series Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin. Today, Marcya maintains a selective performance schedule while dedicating much of her time to bespoke vocal coaching, guiding vocalists toward deeper artistry and technical excellence.
