Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is an annual event held on Thanksgiving Day in New York, on the fourth Thursday in November.
The 98th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to be held on November 28, 2024, in New York City and shown to viewers live on NBC and Peacock that same day from 9 a.m. to noon EST.
Parade Route:
There are 2.5 miles of public viewing. It typically kicks off at West 77th Street & Central Park West and flows down Central Park West before winding around Columbus Circle and onto Central Park South and Sixth Avenue. Finally, it files down Sixth Avenue to Macy’s Herald Square.
The parade attracts a lot of visitors each year or people are watching the parade on television. The four-kilometre parade showcases floats, marching bands, cheerleaders, and of course the famous giant balloons of characters such as Spiderman, Mickey Mouse, and Hello Kitty.
