If so, my Chair Yoga Fitness Class could be just what you are looking for.
Exercising in a chair is a very effective way to keep fit if you have any kind of physical limitation that makes it difficult to get up and down from the floor during regular Yoga/Pilates classes, if you are rehabilitating after an injury, illness or surgery, or if you are a senior. It's also very effective even if you don't find a regular exercise class difficult.
While you sit, I will guide you through a series of gentle, low-intensity movements and stretches inspired by my years teaching Yoga and Pilates.
And I use breathing, meditation and relaxation exercises to help relieve mental stress and tension, leaving you calmed and soothed.
The class is open to everyone, regardless of age, ability or limitations. No previous experience required.
9.30am every Wednesday at Higham Memorial Hall, School Lane, Higham ME3 7JL.
Cost: £9 with discount for block bookings.
