916 Day Volunteer Event at North Natomas Community Park – District 1Date: September 13, 2024

Come together with the City of Sacramento Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment and Parks Commissioner, Odet Ford, and the Office of Councilemember Lisa Kaplan for a day of service and fun at the 916 Day Volunteer Event in your neighborhood! This is your chance to make a tangible impact and help beautify our local park.
Event Activities:
• Shrub Planting: Plant around 500 shrubs to the west and south of the tennis courts, adding vibrant greenery and enhancing the park’s landscape.
• Trash Cleanup: Pick up litter along the park and the path that runs behind it, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors.
• W**d Pulling: Help pull weeds to maintain the park’s beauty and health.
• Playground Maintenance: Grease the swings at the playground to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for children.
Snacks and Refreshments will be provided. Meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Take pride in knowing you’ve played a crucial role in enhancing a beloved local park.
