Activity Description: Expand your artistic journey with this beginner 9-week watercolor course and learn about the fundamental importance of using Contrast and Value to create a dynamic new look and illustrate exceptional depth and distance in your artwork. This course will help all students take their artwork to the next level.
Join experienced artist and instructor Rebecca Whitman in this fun and rewarding 9-week course. This course is a beginner level watercolor course that teaches the basic building blocks of art in a new and rewarding way. We encourage our students to take one or two of our Back to the Basics art classes prior to the course, but any adult beginner can attend.
The course takes place once every week for nine weeks. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of 27 hours of instruction over the duration of the course.
Note on attendance: We encourage students to attend the entire course, but should a student be sick or miss a day for another reason, the classes will be posted in our online classroom within the week of filming to allow the student to catch up.
Price: $450 per person for non-members or $425 for members. Early Bird Discount: Receive $25 off the total course price when you register at least 2 weeks in advance (by 4/17). All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Students must register at least 24 hours in advance of the first class date.
